Slim vertical door stile:
maximum single door width of 970mm
maximum height of 2400mm

Features
Bubble Seals
Jason Benchmark Doors are designed with a bubble seal as standard. The seal offers improved acoustic performance and helps minimise air leakage.
For peace of mind, all hinged Benchmark Doors feature mortice deadlocks.
Midrail Options
A horizontal midrail creates two smaller ‘lite’ spaces within the door, giving an elegant and sophisticated look. If you’re after something a little different, consider a vertical midrail.
Each midrail is 130mm wide and has a chamfered or bevelled edge on single glazed doors, visible from the outside. A square bead edge is visible from the inside. For double glazed doors, a square bead edge is used on both sides to allow for the thickness of the double glazing.
Hi-Lite and Side-Lite Options
Consider coupling a hi-lite or side-lite to your new door. Hi-lites refer to the glass panel that can be fitted above the door, while side-lites are the glass panels that can be fitted on either side of the door. Both hi-lites and side-lites are often used to let more natural light into a room. If ventilation is a concern, select an awning window as a hi-lite or side-lite for a filtered breeze.
Colonial Bar Options
Jason Benchmark Doors can be fitted with 20mm wide horizontal or vertical colonial bars. Create a Hamptons look for your home, or form a pattern of your choice. There are two options of colonial bars for the Benchmark Door range:
- Benchmark bars
- Flat bars
Benchmark bars are supplied by default. Flat bars are often used to match other areas of the home.

Pet Doors
Jason Benchmark Hinged Doors can be fitted with a pet door within the glazing.
Pet doors should be specified at time of order, but they can be retrofitted after installation for an additional cost.
Glazing Options
The role glass plays in the ongoing performance and comfort of a home is often overlooked when building or renovating. Glass has a significant impact on the comfort levels, natural light and security of your home. Your home’s orientation and your family’s needs should be considered when selecting the right glass solution for you.
Toughened safety glass is supplied as standard in all Jason Benchmark Hinged Doors. Upgrade options include:
Laminated Option
- Suits areas requiring special performance, such as sound reduction, energy efficiency and additional security
- Suits doors most prone to injury from human impact
Toned Option
- Useful for reducing the sun’s impact on unshaded doors
Low-E Option
- Suits areas where greater solar and thermal control is required
- Helps improve a home’s energy efficiency rating, and is a cost effective alternative to double glazing
Double Glazing Option
- For areas where more control of heat gain/loss through the glass is required

Security Door Option
Not all door frames are designed and manufactured in the same way. Jason’s range of security doors are designed to fit Jason frames seamlessly. There is no need for unsightly modifications while attempting to fit non-Jason screens to Jason frames.

- Perforated Marine Grade Aluminium

BAL Ratings
Depending on your home’s BAL Rating, a security door may be required.
Your home’s location is assessed for the severity level of a potential ember attack, radiant heat, and direct flame contact. The BAL ( Bushfire Attack Level) is a rating system that states construction requirements under the Australian Standard AS3959-2009 to improve the protection of your home from a potential bushfire attack. Your builder or council can advise if your home is subject to a BAL rating. A Jason Windows product specialist can then assist you with your BAL rating window, door and screen requirements to ensure your home meets the code.
