Things to consider when your sliding doors won't lock...
- Check the rollers run smoothly and the door is level and square. Do the door rollers need replacing?
- If you have Boltlock Handles, check the keepers are secured into your door frame properly. Keepers are located at the top and bottom of the frame and allow your door to be locked in a partially opened “vent” position, encouraging airflow but maintaining security.
- Does the lock body need to be replaced?

- Does the lock body need to be replaced?

Things to consider when your sliding windows won't lock...
- Is the window sash uneven?
- Do the window rollers need replacing?
- Is the Breezelock Rod broken? Or the housing that holds the rod?
The Breezelock system is designed to automatically lock the window in 3 set positions. This feature allows the flow of air through your home with the window locked at a narrow position for your peace of mind. Does it need replacing?
- Has the key barrel come out?

Worn out rollers or dirty tracks can cause the glass in sliding doors and windows to pull away from the frame for a few reasons:
1. Over time, dirt can accumulate in the tracks of sliding doors and windows, obstructing the smooth movement of the rollers, causing them to drag or stick instead of rolling freely. This added friction can put stress on the entire door or window structure, causing the glass to pull away from the frame.
2. If the rollers are worn out or damaged, they may not roll smoothly, causing the door or window to drop slightly. This can increase friction and lead to misalignment, which might cause the glass to pull away from the frame.
3. Damaged or worn down tracks can also cause issues. If the tracks are not straight, the rollers may not be able to move freely, causing the door or window to sit unevenly or pull away from the frame.

Things to consider if your screens are falling out...
- Are the screen clips loose or missing? Screen clips are small plastic pieces that hold the screen in place. If they become loose or go missing, the screen can fall off your window.
- Consider replacing your flyscreens with Jason Security Screens.
