Heritage Warehouse Aparments in Fremantle, Western Australia

Heritage Warehouse Apartments, Heirloom Fremantle

The Heirloom Apartments project was an exciting redevelopment of an iconic Fremantle building. Jason Windows were proud to partner with Built to supply and install new internal and external windows and doors.

The external framework is Manor Red, to match the heritage front facade of the brickwork. Due to the blast zone requirements of the nearby Fremantle Port Authority no external glass was permitted to exceed 1.5m, requiring all window and door frames to be divided up with aligning transoms, mullions and mid rails, meeting the maximum glass size requirement whilst maintaining a consistent look across the building.

Internally all framework is Ebony Black to meet the clients request to create an industrial space, and compromised a mixture of commercial framed windows and doors, with an interesting use of operable louvres internally to provide air flow between different living area’s within the apartments.
