A New Level of Design and Luxury

Jason Windows crafted different design elements into the window packages to produce the desired, thoughtfully bespoke appearance that is the trademark of QT Hotel.

For example, levels 3-14 use integrated vertical sunshades to the windows, which are actually 150mm window sections, coupled directly to the 150mm window suite itself, creating a 300mm wide framing system. These were manufactured with vertical aluminium louvre blades to provide the required sun screening, creating the desired chunky but integrated aluminium window and shade package.

Another feature is the integrated ‘T’ bar vertical fins from the ground floor up to level 2, as well as to the top floor level 18. These required machining of the window mullions to allow the ‘T’ bar to be internally fixed to the mullions, becoming a structural component of the window system, whilst delivering the visual detail requested. The addition of either stainless or brass cover plates to the outside face of the fin completed the effect over the different floors.

For the ground floor, as well as the feature ‘T’ bar fins the 3.6m high perimeter windows were also installed into full height black painted structural steel framework, all provided as part of the window package. The air locks and entries feature a combination of 4m high frameless glazing and auto doors, complemented by heavy brass entry doors completed by the builder.
