The Jason Awning Gas Strut Window offers an unobstructed view of your alfresco area, along with convenient, easy connectivity when entertaining.
With a height of 1029mm – or 1457mm with a hi-lite – the Gas Strut Servery Window is available in two width options:
- 1810mm
- Â 2410mm
Note: This product is only suitable for new builds. It is not suitable for retrofit application.

Features
Stylish and Secure
Double cylinder locks are supplied as standard. Gas strut windows are lockable from inside and outside.
Built to Last
The sturdy design maintains a minimum frame width of 100mm, while its versatility makes it suitable for both cavity brick and timber-framed construction. Mohair brush seals fitted to the sill reduce air leakage, ensuring the home gets maximum efficiency from heating and cooling.
Sill-less Option
The sill-less option provides a seamless transition from inside to out, enabling the benchtop to be installed in one piece.
Note: The sill-less option is not weatherproof and therefore not warrantied for water ingress. Jason Windows recommends the sill-less option be installed under the main roof in a covered location, i.e. alfresco areas.

All Jason Awning Gas Strut Windows are designed to accept a standard flyscreen to prevent the intrusion of unwanted insects. The screens are fitted with fibreglass mesh as standard with the following upgrade options available:
Aluminium Mesh
- More durable than fibreglass mesh
- Suitable for bushfire rated zones, complies with AS3959 up to BAL29
Steel Mesh
- Stronger than aluminium mesh
- Good corrosion resistance
- Suitable for bushfire rated zones, compiles with AS3959 up to BAL29
Migi Mesh
- Stronger than aluminium mesh
- Good corrosion resistance
- Suitable for bushfire rated zones, compiles with AS3959 up to BAL29
BAL Ratings
The BAL assesses a home’s risk level of a potential ember attack, radiant heat, and direct flame contact.
The BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) is a rating system that states the construction requirements under the Australian Standard AS3959-2009 to improve the protection of your home from a potential bushfire attack. Your builder will advise if your home is subject to a BAL rating. A Jason Windows product specialist can then assist you with your BAL rating and your window, door and screen requirements to ensure your home meets the code.
